What is slaters bridge?

Slaters Bridge is a historic packhorse bridge located in the Lake District of England near the village of Little Langdale. It was built in the 17th century and spans the River Brathay. The bridge is made of slate slabs and has a single arch with a span of approximately 10 feet. It was originally used to transport goods and livestock across the river.
